There is a good selection of Cornish produce and day to day essentials at the local shop, Crackington Village Stores and as with a lot of rural shops and Post Offices, it needs all the support possible. It would great if you could use it during your stay, please visit their website as they have facilities to order online and will even arrange a delivery direct to the cottage so that your produce is there when you arrive.

Collecting your own food...

We live in a prime position for catching you own fantastic fresh fish, collecting fresh mussels off of the rocks, or picking seaweed rich in nutrients. What could possilby be more perfect than cooking your freshly harvested produce on a bbq at the beach, whilst your children play in the sea or on the sand, whilst you watch the sunset.

 

In the autumn it is possible to find wild mushrooms. Pick apples and blackberries to make a perfect fresh crumble or pie to go with some fantastic Cornish Clotted Cream!
