Rostowan is Located just outside the old fishing village of Portscatho, easily accessible on foot via a quiet winding country lane, about a 30 minute stroll. The village, which offers 2 pubs, 2 cafes and a shop/post office and also has beautiful sandy beaches, brilliant food and a pretty fishing harbour, a lovely place to unwind with a pint or spend an afternoon crabbing.
St. Mawes is the larger village in the area and can be accessed by car, or by walking around the creek to Place Manor where it is possible to catch the foot passenger ferry. From St Mawes it is possible to catch a number of different ferries to places such as Falmouth and Truro (the capital of Cornwall).
Due to this Property's extremely remote location it is approached by a track of about 1/4 of a mile,
we have a ordinary family Car and have no problems, but if you do have a very low slung sports car with very little ground clearance then Rostowan is probably not for you.
